Electric or Engine Driven Systems
In urban areas where electricity is readily available, an electric driven compressor and other electric equipment is generally incorporated into the QLD process. The entire system is closed and flaring or venting is eliminated under normal operations. In areas that have tight environmental regulations and electricity is not available, lean burn engines can be used to power the process.
