QLD/Vapor Recovery Integration
Due to the synergy of the designs, the QLD can be integrated with any of Engineered Concepts’ vapor recovery processes including the HERO (stabilization) process. The temperature controlled processes work together to ensure all hydrocarbon vapors are captured for use as process fuel sales. Well site emissions and process odors become virtually nonexistant.

The Engineered Concepts’ LPP is a portable VRT (aka Vapor Recovery Tower) that serves to flash the fluids at 4 to 6 osig so the vapors can be recovered prior to final tank storage. A standard VRT would be about 25 to 30 ft. tall as opposed to the 10 ft. skid mounted LPP. The VRSA controls the temperatures of compression process and stages hydrocarbon liquids dumping from the high-pressure separator. The LPP captures the vapors that would otherwise flash in the tank. The LPP vapors flow to a VRU to be compressed into the VRSA and then flow to the inlet scrubber of the flash gas compressor. |
The process and equipment design of an emission free location is dependent upon line pressures, current equipment on-site and numerous other factors. Preplanning is recommended to ensure minimal capital cost, reliable operations and optimum return on investment. |
